The Launch of the Audi A5 and S5 series in 2013

Audi-A5-CabrioletAudi A5 and S5 coupe and cabriolet in 2013 invigorated with most of the changes to the exterior – which obviously is a restyled front end with cues from the new A7 is already on sale.

On the front, the new A5 light (xenon option), redone LED running lights, a new bumper and new fog lights are more chiseled and fit with his brother A6 and A7 models in 2012. The rear lights have also been redesigned, too, but the changes in the back of the dramatic changes that lie ahead.

The biggest change in power trains is that S5 got the news about the engine. Gone will be the 4.2-liter V-8 that has been available since the launch of the S5 as a 2008 model year. While we will miss the sound of the hefty 354-horsepower V-8, we like the new engine: 333-HP, 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 that currently powers the A6 and A7. The performance of all-wheel drive with torque vectoring will be standard.

A5 maintain a 211-HP, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine combined with a six-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission and is available with front or all-wheel drive. An Audi representative told our friends about Kicking Tires Cars.com ‘s that the new 272 HP, Supercharged 3.0-liter that will be found in European A5 models are not tied to the U.S. at this time.

audi S5 road testTouched pieces and panels in the interior include a new steering wheel and different finishes on the instrument cluster and center console. Models equipped with the optional MMI navigation system has a simple layout with four buttons instead of eight. An Audi Connect system adds a new optional search point-of-interest Google, combined with GPS navigation with Google Earth and a wireless hotspot. Once again, similar to the A6 and A7. The help system includes lane assist, adaptive cruise and new driver information center that can sense motion control and tells you when it needs a break.

The Audi A5 profile is largely unchanged except for the addition of the new wheel styles. That’s not a bad thing: there really is something wrong with the Audi A5 in 2010, which is depicted in the gallery below. The story is the same when you move towards the A5 is the trunk. The rear lights are the same shape but looks more modern and lower rear fascia has been tastefully updated. In addition to these changes, the 2013 Audi A5 cues retain the same basic design as before.

The Audi A5 and S5 series made in 2013 can be ordered at a car dealership in the summer with an affordable price, will be announced closer to launch date – but we hope it stays the same as the current price of around $ 37,000.
